Eating the moon

orchidee

What madness is this title? Fido asks me!

What bizarreness, what obscurity of title!

Well, I'm gonna eat the moon

This coming Tuesday night

In the UK anyway - dunno about elsewhere

It's gonna be a 'Strawberry full moon' - yummy!

So if the moon's made of cheese

We'll have a strawberry cheesecake

With actual cheese in it

Come and join me, they'll be plenty to have

Don't miss it

As the moon will have to re-form again

When we've eaten it - or most of it

And there's not another such moon until 2043

Of course, Goldfinch and I have seen loads of them

With us both being millions of years old

How many have you seen?! LOL

That's why the moon had a bite taken out of it. Sounds delicious. Good write Orchi

Well, you clever, antiquated riot, can't say as I've known what I've been missing. Strawberry, eh? It's characteristically like a very thin sliver monthly, methinks, whence we'll survive here on the other side of the pond. Thank you for sharing.
