Doppelgangers for everyone, someone else out of eight billion
A physical equal from birth, a mirror projection on earth
Where looks are the same, but what of the brain's claim?
Doppelgangers of the mind, our and their thoughts aligned
Both identical mentality, mirrored images in logic and personality
In time so vast could we have had a double in the past?
We live in a world matrix where genetics plays tricks
In all of plurality there is no individuality

This raises some important philosophical questions about individuality and genetics.I used to have a boss once and I saw her on the train one morning.I said hello to her only to find it was an identical looka like.Scary but true. Great poem that made me think
Years ago I came to work to find a picture pasted on the office wall of what I myself took to be me in the company of Ivana Trump from a magazine photo. I had no memory of such and event but faced many questions and thankfully my wife believed me.
The poem masterfully delves into the captivating realm of doppelgangers, embracing the profound notion that every individual harbors a twin in the vast expanse of human existence. It elegantly weaves together the intricate tapestry of identity, genetics, and the philosophical conundrums of individuality versus plurality. The poem also endeavors to inspire introspection about the essence of identity, the enigmatic presence of doubles, and the profound implications of being part of a larger human narrative, prompting us to ponder whether true individuality can flourish in a world where genetic similarities abound.

A fine poem on an intriguing topic. The amount of times people encounter the double of people they know. Maybe there is something in it.
