A Romance

A Romance

A Glance

All it took was a glance

across a crowded room

to spark a romance

and a love to bloom

Chance

What are the odds?

That you meet someone

whose nature fits with yours

like a brush set free

in the hand of DaVinci.

The Dance

The music flowed

and the wine was sweet

They whirled and spun

until the morning Sun

woke them both

from beneath the sheet.

France

The Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe

a small cafe on Montmartre

a riposte, a bon mot

gains devotion from a fond heart.

The Manse

They have their chat with the Vicar

but he wants them to wait

and refuses to give them a date.

In Vegas, they were married quicker.
