Severance (draft)

DreamTiger

out on the prairie

alone in my thoughts

deep in the canyons

of unforgiving oughts

I try to divide

the fool from his folly

and hope to abide

broken bones

broken dreams

severed stones

cracked at the seams

shackled by memories

shamed by regret

stories unwritten

symphonies unmet

conflict crashes

lividly lashes

hysteria's histories

try

to hide

the turmoil inside

it may be time

to walk away

from severance

Well worded and with rhyme. Nicely done

Its a long battle to break free when there is turmoil inside, but step by step, nicely expressed write
