SILENT THOUGHTS

nephilim56

Sometimes silence
Is a friend of mine
In deeper regions
Of a flowing mind
An apex predator
To some
I bathe in its rays
A welcome sun.

Its fingers
Overgrown as such
Feared by many
A chilling touch
But a warm blanket
In thoughtful times
To seek refuge
From lifes lies.

Silence
In fall to sleep
Over dreaming waves
A castles keep
A journey into
Distant lands
A foreign beach
Silence stands.

Silence becomes alive in your verses, a sanctuary and a storm. Truly mesmerizing.

Very nicely portrayed as a friend and a refuge this poem presents silence as most helpful. Most poetically written it calls out of the silence.
