I am waiting your return

Lorenz

I 'm so bored in my milky suburb

somewhere on 5th street

in the middle of the point nemo.

Who will draw me a sheep

not promised for sacrifice ?

Perhaps an aviator

in need of inspiration ,

dreaming on a north sea dune ?

I feel in some tropical mood .

The graceful pleiades

spinning in the infinite galactic poem

greet me ,going on their way ...

I also like distracted and dishevelled comets.

So sad ! I don't have any roses to seduce...

I would like to leave this earth ,

full of my empty heart ...

And become a baobab gardener !

In the saturday night ,improvise

long sax duets under a Jupiter moon light.

You see ! I'm so crazy ,I add characters

to the story !

But maybe you've forgotten them ?

And left Alice in wonderland ...

You know,its all about bonding

and not just with a drunkard...

It's very difficult ,even with

an instruction manual !

Because of this we lose the thread of theme...

You don't really know ,if you're

a little prince wondering about tenderness

or a fox in the doldrums giving answers

to grown-up  questions ...

But please ,if you see him ...

Let him know that I'm waiting his return...

A tender, ironic, and profound monologue of a soul that has slipped away into a world of dreams...

A simple and universal message '' I'm waiting for you..! ''

Loved the Little Prince and Alice in Wonderland. The second from childhood and the first from adulthood. They are used so cleverly in this poem to enhance the meaning and well done too. Most lovely

This poem is a playful song of loneliness and ambiguous tenderness !
