Silver stars and moon

Caring dove

The silver stars sit by the merry moon

little lights live by a comfortable circle of balance , something complete

or by that part of a shape standing in a smile

silver and shining in the nighttime

they sit small soft tender

talkative pieces by a moon which is sometimes whole

sometimes incomplete

changes size and shape

because that’s just the way it is at the time

can’t help the way it lives in the world

only one merry moon

living in two different shapes

at different times

cresent or circle

their still the same moon

only one

just never knowing another moon

the stars have their little light

standing in shades of silver or white and still tenderly twinkling

In the night
