Prithee, What Colour IS Speechless Afterall?

Cheeky Missy

Because today I have way too much to do to think.

Ask Me A Different Day, Please

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLVI)

Oh freighted dreams of what? Is all pretense?
We're settling in, yet not at all to scale
As was prescribed. I was not givn t'avail
Whom I had thought was promised, like what thence?
She was a winner. Oh well. Let defense
Iron out what should be and each last detail;
I need what, zactly? Hot dawgs for lunch, trail
To yonder cloaked by mists, what is good sense?
No Barry's, so I had a cuppa fer
Fatigue of coffee, creamed like that would do
For oernight's shift and day; craft porridge, stir
Naught else 'cept cottage cheese, fruit cocktail too;
And all I had to do was more as t'were
Than I had dreamed. Oh LORD, how I need You.

....!

Ha! Colour Me Speechless, Will You?

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLVII)

Two baby tigers is't? haunt in betrayl
My place, the novel setting strange from hence,
Nor food nor water of aught int'rest, whence
We play at hide-n-seek til I avail
Me of rest 'fore my shift, the curious trail
To yonder fraught with worries that defense
Does not exist, as if escape owns sense
For whom? and home does not own any bail.
Oh sleep! Erase aught or eclipse as t'were
Aught else in now, where half a chance a few
Hours sleep is catnap, broken, though tis poor,
By her mistaken timing, nary cue
Enough where dreams' vain substance maunt bestir
Hope in the face of morrow. I need You.

Man, to think I'd been looking forward to Friday the 13th all month.

Oh Rain! I've Nary Time To Indulge

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLVIII)

Rain as was forecast trips along fr'intents
In lieu of dawn, from sprinkles light detail
To heavy, til I wish I'd used t'avail
A mac or e'en umbrella, as from hence
I'm soaked for walking two blocks sans defense.
Once in, change, put the kettle on, and hail
That 'loved recure of Barry's in this frail
Calm of a rainy morning, shortbread whence.
Showr, craft the porridge, bacon frying in tour
As hash warms, what distracts me? Not the view.
My schedule's tight; serve breakfast as few stir
Is't? Read the Scriptures for today; text too
These off to Cynthya, and I've scant time fer
Aught else, with far too much to do. LORD, woo.

My brothers said I was.

Am I Too Busy For a Cat?

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLIX)

Thy mercies new each morning, LORD, t'avail
The groc'ry shopping's done in time whilst thence
To stow all and craft lunch and smoothies hence
Takes too long, til I'm not in bed to hail
Much needed rest til's less that three hours' frail
Chance at recure. Whilst happy children fence
These warmly sunny hours with play, a sense
Of sweetest joys therein, how I search bail.
I guess tis been what? Twenty-four hours' tour
Of four of us by now? They're hiding too,
And sleep behind the couch, their cave as t'were
Likeas I joyed to own in childhood. Two
Days more? Or when shall we be settled? Stir
Hope in the LORD, my soul. LORD, I wait You.

I abhor drugs, but relented and bought catnip toys for them.

It's Only Been 'Bout Forty Hours

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLX)

Set out two catnip toys and Peter thence
Has fun, whilst Tigger munches which detail?
Dried flowr display. She's so absorbed, she'd fail
To notice til she slips off sans defense
Right oer the armchair rest, so cute from hence
As she clings to it, clambring back up, frail
For half a moment, as to watch'd avail
Me of the chance I sought by half. Ah, whence?
While Peter loves to sniff and taste in tour
My food, they won't touch aught of theirs, if to
Effect I serve them bits of mine. Is't poor?
How Tigger whines for canned food like tis due,
And I tell her to wait. "Cat tree..." bestir
No int'rest, eh? LORD, save us please, won't You?

But that's what I am by definition.

Being an Incurable Dreamer is No Fun

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLXI)

He sez they eat from his plate, like t'avail
Them of our food must be from his fr'intents?!
They've followed him 'round since the first night, whence
I guess he gives them cues, til I maunt fail
To be half jealous. If the male would trail
Me, that's because he leads, as he from thence
Takes morsels from my brother's plate, a sense
Of what? in that cute gesture? Have I bail?
What happened to my dream of cuddling her
And him? They play at hide-n-seek all through
My waking hours. I maunt get close as t'were,
But they run off, til I despair. The two
Lie sweetly resting at his feet. Bestir
Them passing by. Oh LORD, I wait for You.
