Red umbrella
sits in the outside
on a puddle
feeling the rain
feeling the blues yet maybe there’s a need for green grass below her feet
sunlight and rainbows
there to feel the rain
yet maybe she doesn’t just want to be there for someone
so they can take her out in the rain
maybe umbrella wishes to just be taken out in the soft sunlight
without the rain falling

I take this for a metaphor for a person exposed to the storms of life that wishes no longer to be the shelter for others but to be taken in themselves out of the storm. Very nice
Thankyou ))
yeah , I guess it could be viewed that way . An umbrella is often just there for others and may well get fed up of being out in the rain , or even stuck in the four walls ..
Yeah and I guess rain could sometimes be thought of as sadness ‘ falling . Or our emotions …
I like writing to pictures , they make me think
Thankyou very much )
That's a Lovely write of someone who wants to be protected from the storms instead of protecting others for a change, enjoyed the read

Beautiful imagery of longing and self-discovery—sometimes even umbrellas crave the sun. A poignant reminder that we all yearn for moments of lightness beyond our expected roles.
