Kisses, Tea, and Why Granny Lost Her Balls--

Cheeky Missy

I've said, "if patience is a virtue, I was born sans."

I've Been By Far Impatient

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLXXIX)

Lo, for the first time ever, that detail:
How Tigger sweetly purrs...for me! She'd thence
Join me once home and changing clothes, to fence
That time with purring. And milk. To avail
Them both of that, how she meows to scale
Until I serve it. Whilst they both fr'intents
Then station them to "help" us in defense
Of milk in both our cereal bowls, what'd fail?
It's now their job to lick the yoghurt fer
All that off of my dinner--how the two
Of them both help themselves at once in tour!
And hence my dinner is not ready to
Be had until they nearly cleaned as twere
The yoghurt off. Oh LORD, let us praise You.

Eh?

Of Kisses, Tea, and Wine?!

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLXXX)

Beryl Peter's book sez bubbles on fr'intents
Yer cuppa tea means kisses, and t'avail
My cuppa Barry's has a bunch to scale;
Tis Nash'nal Kissing Day sans lover thence
To give aught meaning, so I'll cherish hence
Tea bubbles mair than wont for that detail
Of tis "the day--"!! Besides, the Scriptures hail
It as, "...Thy love is better than--" for sense.
"Wine is a mocker, strong drink raging," poor
As what if I don't want the bottle? Do
The other fine distractions cull as t'were
A sense of drunkeness? Thy Scriptures cue
With, "...let him kiss me with the kisses [fer
All that]of His mouth--" oh! that Thou wouldst too.

So I've heard.

All Good Things Take Time Is't?

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLXXXI)

It's been twelve days., and how she purrs t'avail
Now, even climbs into my lap from hence
And looks up at me as we play, the sense
Of "rescue" kittens lost on me in frail
Reply til now, where I begin to hail
Their trust is it? The journey's worth all thence,
(Though I despaired at first) like in defense
Of aught held dear, with joys along the trail.
No, they won't let us pet them yet in tour,
But p'raps they're getting "warmer" and will do
That later on, who knows? They watch as twere
Repair men from afar, and closer, to
Be ready in a heartbeat to bestir
A safer place if needed, all of You.

of yarn.

Now I Know Why Grandma Lost Her Balls

(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCDLXXXII)

I have a new eraser ere twas thence
E'en due, cuz Tigger's jealous in betrayl
Of lo, my time. No ball of yarn t'avail
Aught knitting project, paper, pencil hence
And worn eraser my utensils, whence?
But she'll butt in so I maunt scribble, hail
My old eraser as a toy, and trail
It 'long around the room til, where's defense?
She batted it until it flew as t'were,
Yea, chased it like a mouse sans catnip to
Allure, and fin'lly lost it whither? Poor
As pulling out lo, a replacement, who
Could say but it was here? Dare I bestir
A new one, how he chides me for it too.
