Different Paths.

Goldfinch60

“Can you lend me some money?”

A question I have been asked many times

And yes, I have “lent” her some money.

The Bank of Dad is there for her,

For her to “borrow” some money.

She and money are on different paths,

They never stay together.

If one day she returned all the money,

All the money she had “borrowed”

I may be a millionaire.

    Good write Gold.

The word lend needs to be redefined in the dictionary and a redundancy to the word give. I have found that lending money is best done to people you no longer want to see and serves as a purchase price for their future absence. With kids I give because I do want to see them. Nicely written Andy
