A tree sits still
wandering
thinking
but look at those birds travelling the sky
moving , searching , being a bird
doing the normal thing for them
flying the sky
and then there’s a tree , sitting still
havnt the ability to fly the sky
don’t know how to have wings
and if I was a bird not able to fly
I’d sigh with insecurity
all this confidence in their wings
and I’m stuck here
not understanding how to reach as far as them
sighing with insecurity
sometimes we can be like that bird who doesn’t always know how to fly
when other birds can
sighing because they have confidence to go where they wish
and we don’t understand how to be
or how to sometimes even reach that place in life

Yay! First comment! This one touched something deep, dear friend. You captured so honestly that quiet hurt of watching others soar while feeling rooted, unsure. There’s such vulnerability here—and a truth so many of us carry quietly. Thank you for putting it into words. 🌹👏
Thankyou very much for your kind comments ))
Yes .. sometimes it’s difficult when we feel lacking in confidence and struggling with things ..
Thanks for the support
For sure. You are most welcome, dear friend!
Freedom is not total but restricted by nature and our capabilities. A lovely poem
Thankyou very much ))
Yes , sometimes we can feel a bit trapped in life ( when struggling with confidence or feeling like we can’t do certain things .. we then feel sad because we’re missing out )
Glad you liked my poem
A sense of feeling restrained while we see others freely roaming around, nicely expressed and written
Thankyou .. I guess it’s that feeling of feeling a little bit trapped
Thanks ))
You are very welcome
Sitting still and watching nature is a privilege that many do not understand Yellow Rose.
Andy
the confidence to fly, and then soar high in the sky will come if you keep the faith; all the best
