Glass Race

dyslexic.gun

My soul shattered

That’s the cause of this race

Hit the ground running

Sound good

While then sun is in your face

And the wings on your back

Has the lift you need to take

But Hit the ground running

Shattered my mental state

See I had to keep a steady pace

Asthma would be my reminder

If I didn’t smoke that pain away

Shattered bones of mine will keep running

Just as long as I don’t delay

But there won’t be a finish line

No, not for many days
