Favourites?

orchidee

How much does it cost to 'Favourite' a poem

If there was a cost imposed?

Ohh, Fido says to me

About two a penny, I should think

Cos people actually 'Favourite' your rubbish

Those in the 'Meanwhile....' series, for example

If it cost ya £100 or $100 to 'favourite' a poem

It would be a shocking waste of money for ya

To favour any of my 'humorous' poems!

LOL

Nah that's too obvious - name appears.....'Likes' is more sneaky, possible to get away with that. (If that were all folks were able to get away with here...................... what a tidy old joint this would be...)

    • orchidee

Ah yes, I see. We can only 'like' our own poems once though, or else it backfires, and goes back to the previous figure - in my case, zero 99% of the time - eh?!

      • Doggerel Dave

Yeh - you've got it all sussed, orchi - you don't need my assistance any more...... Oh dear, what will I do with all that spare time??

        • orchidee

You had to spend about 23 hours a day assisting me. Yes, what will you do now? lol. And hows that Winter going there?

        • Caring dove

Lol some people do favourite their own poems .. not me tho

          • orchidee

Yes lol. I suppose we better favourite them, if no one else is!

          • sorenbarrett

Favorite them? Don't even like them. Sometimes wonder if I even read them. There is another site where one has degrees of like and fave where one can not do anything, give it one star, two stars or three stars. Doing nothing costs nothing, and each star costs incrementally more. I say what the hell just give em all three stars I never use my points anyways. Fun read Orchi

Thank you SB. lol. Ooh, increments now - have a gold star! lol.

I would favor my own poems only if I were wearing a headscarf and sunglasses, and a false name. Wait a minute, no one can see me, so I guess I can just fav away with the false name, that is. lol

                • orchidee

Thank you B. lol. Can't see ya there in that pic. lol.

                • David Wakeling

Yes it costs nothing to fav a poem. Worth asking

                  • orchidee

Thank you D. We best Favourite our own poems then, in case no one else does. lol.

                  • Tristan Robert Lange

It costs you 50 quid and a pint for a fave! 😂 Though in your case, Orchi, I’d probably throw in a can of spinach and a confused “hamster” (I know I know…guinea pigs 🤣) for good measure. Always worth the laugh! 🌹👏

                    • orchidee

Thank you T. lol. Argh! I've not got to do yet another poem explaining they are guinea pigs, have I?! I could change my pic to a pic of Popeye. Why Don't answer that! lol.

                      • Tristan Robert Lange

I think it should be a guinea pig dressed as popeye would be most fitting! Just imagine it...or don't! 🤣
