I don’t worry about others
I know they will be okay.
I worry what will happen to my body.
I know I won’t be around
to determine what happens to it,
but I hope it gives back to the planet,
in some way.
I do fear dying
because Earth is no longer livable.
But when I think about how and where,
I think back to the final scene in Titanic
when Rose goes peacefully in her sleep
surrounded by photos of her adventures.
I would like to be surrounded by family though.
And I’d like to think that when I go,
I will be dreaming,
and that I will just dream, and dream,
forever after.

This poems explores the change from life to death. The poem expands on the desire to pass peacefully in dreams that are never ending. A lovely thought.
Thank you.
Love it
Yes Yalom is an interesting writer if you are at all interested in psychology/psychiatry. Gives an added dimension.
Body disposal? Things are moving on. I'm old enough to remember when all garbage went straight to landfill. Now we have different methodologies. Needed -more funds for medical schools which then can dissect more bods.
Exit a continuation of a dream - I'd like that if possible.....
Well written
Deep thinking
