robin in my garden

jim56

theres a robin my garden as tame as tame can be
when i dig my garden he comes to visit me
looking for the worms in the new dug ground
he is very clever knows new worms can be found

even tho i am there he just carries on
walking all around me fear he has none
he  just eats his worms there his favourite treat
his very favourite meal he just loves to eat

fills his appetite then flies in to the sky
i give a little wave as i say good bye
when tomorrow comes he will visit me
he knows there will be worms.  a clever chap is he

It is funny how over time animals mayu grow accustomed to our behaviors and develop a trusting and symbiotic relationship with us. A lovely write Jim
