DADDYS GIRL

nephilim56

When fate deems
My time to leave
My daughter listen
I will not see
A mother of children
Proud and strong
But the little girl
Who played along.

In my arms
Or on my shoulders
Our love it lives
Beyond deaths borders
The little girl
Who daddy shouted
I always remember
You never doubted.

This last thing
As your father I say
You gave me such pride
In so many ways
When darkness takes
Me far away
I will return
In a gentle way.

The end broke me away but it was a nice poem and such bond to cherish coz usually most daughters and fathers dont get it some are messy if you get what I mean.
