“spark of now”
In one fleeting breath
I held your name,
Once, just once—
no age-old reverie to bind us.
My heart unraveled
its songs before they formed,
No necklace of memories,
only shards of now.
When I scroll through screens
of touch and text,
You blur before me—
a spark that flickers, then fades.

So this is the more permanent posting that can be filed away for future reference. The photo can be saved as well
Is this a reference to love at first sight? A write in the now.that is always present but as stated flickers and fades. Loved it
Yes it could and also a longer, more lasting obsessive kind of affection as well. Thanks Soren 🙏🏻🕊️
Most welcome
A write I feel goes two ways the love at first sight which can flicker. I knew someone who kept looking at a photo of a past lover, who could not just forget and delete, enjoyed the read
Thanks friend, that indeed it could be, thanks for sharing this view🙏🏻🕊️
You are very welcome
Is it really a case of what you see is what you get?
Good write, arqios. For me, a delightful look into the world of electronic love. My memories of past loves took place before the advent of electronics. Thanks for the peek.
A true pleasure, Jerry. The speed of communication can be quite bewildering in comparison. It can be daunting as well when everything can be had or lost almost instantaneously 🙏🏻🕊️
Reading this felt like a rite of passage .. exquisite ink enjoyed so much .. I'm so glad I stopped by .. Neville
I see two hearts meet as one, only to lose each other before that love could ever be fulfilled. Sad, faded memories of what might have been, but never was. A case of two lovers, so right for each other, but time and chance, keeps them apart. Beautifully told!
This resonates with me. Shh, I can say no more.
Very nice.
May that spark light in time arqios.
Andy
Thank you Andy! 🕊️🙏🏻
