When

Lorna

When the have to's are over

The should do's are done

And the grass grows tall

Around their rotting frames

We will laugh again

Feel some fondness for ourselves

Breathe deeply of the freedom

Lift our faces to the sun

    Hello, Lorna,

What a beautiful way to end this lovely poem of yours but to face the sun. The warmth of the ending just's gladdens the heart. Excellent!

    Wishing you all the best,

    Tony.
