He

Tony36

He walks in the shadows

Hides from the world

A disfigured man

Alone and afraid

He did not ask to be this way

The events in his life just happened

Disfigured from an accidennt

Scared all over

Most look upon him as a freak

Most just pass by

The few friends he has

His only support

He is an outcast

Living on the street

Staying where others can’t see him

I hear in his silent footsteps the brave pulse of a heart that refuses to vanish in the dark.
His scars, born of accident and fear, are a testament not to freakishness but to fierce survival.
May we learn to see beyond the shadowed outline, offering kindness as the light he’s been denied.
How might our world transform if we greeted him not with recoil, but with the simple grace of true sight?

Sadly this is true for so many and it should never be, nicely written

Tony, this is brief but powerful. You’ve drawn him with few strokes, but the image lingers…a soul caught between survival and invisibility. It’s heartbreaking how many live this truth...unseen, misjudged, still trying to hold on. Been there myself. You gave voice to the forgotten. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛ Thank you, dear friend!

Aww, poor fellow! What a heartbreaking story. How perfectly rendered sans fancy trimmings, pougnantly wringing the heart with a touch of imagery to tidy it up. Thank you very much for sharing.

Sad and tragic this poem speaks for the many homeless, the discarded, the mentally disturbed and the rejected. A compassionate and lonely write
