Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Will be not posting for the next couple days as I set up my official web site and get some other important next steps in order. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

We live
In a world
That tells us
What ought to be,
But only ever delivers
On what has always been.
But there is a mystical insight
That has been revealed, given to me
To reveal to the world this singular truth,
A truth that is not just true for me but also for you.
And here is that truth, meant to be spoken from the heart’s depth:

I AM what ought to be.

Dearest Salvia…you get the golden laurel of first commenter! 🥇💐 And what a beautiful comment it is, my friend. Thank you for receiving this piece with such depth and care. I am thrilled you saw the core and heart of this, which is the revelation of each of our divine worth. Imago Dei. Your support means the world to me. Truly grateful, Salvia. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

You are the architect of reality, infusing every moment with bold possibility. When you declare “I AM what ought to be,” you spark a radiant dawn of hope and wonder.

      • Tristan Robert Lange

arqios, my friend, you always show up with thunder in your pen (fingertips, rather 🤣). “A radiant dawn of hope and wonder”…yes, that’s exactly what I was reaching for. And honestly, what could be more hopeful or wonder-full than being imbued with divine worth by our Creator…who, unlike Victor Frankenstein, never left us alone or abandoned? I keep coming back to this: if we could just recognize the divine worth in all people…starting with ourselves, but never ending there…we might begin to glimpse who our Creator truly is. Or so I ponder and wonder…because who really knows in the end? 😂 Thank you, as always, for your time and astute interpretation. Much appreciated. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

              Hello, Tristan,

To behold, a triangular poem, the three points of the holy trinity and therein: 'I AM what ought to be.' Divined from the soul this one simple truth in a spiritually resplendent verse. Accolades galore, my friend.

              Fond regards,

              Tony.

              • Tristan Robert Lange

Tony, your comment sent a shiver down me timbers, my dear friend. Geese left their electric bumps all up and down me. While I hadn’t explicitly named the Trinity in my mind when composing, I was drawn to the shape…something about the flow, the center-alignment, the expansion from singular truth to divine declaration. And yes, subconsciously, the three Persons of the Trinity…divine revelation. I felt the Spirit in it for sure. So when you read the triangle and the “I AM” at its core…well, that felt like confirmation. Thanks for the clarity, my friend! Deeply grateful for your thoughtful eye and generous spirit, always. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Again Tristan I am intrigued with the word shape in your poem. It seems a tree. more a pine, and trees are what they are supposed to be and seek no other shape. It is humans that prune them and twist them to make them what they want. A lovely write.

                      • Tristan Robert Lange

Soren, once again, your insights root themselves deep. 🌲 Indeed the shape is important, but I hadn’t consciously aimed for a pine…but now I can’t unsee it…and your metaphor brings even more life to the poem. Yes…trees don’t strive to become anything other than what they are. It’s the human impulse to reshape, to distort. This reminds me of a Marilyn Manson quote, “Man is the only animal who will not be itself.” #Truth Your comment is both poetic and grounding, and I’m grateful, as ever, for your thoughtful eye. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Funny, should be clarity in brevity, however I'm still stumped. Mum wouldn't allow me to wear my hair that short, so I could only have half of it in that style with longer in the back. The girl appears possibly less than happy, too lost in a brown study. While initially provoked to consider my own stance, I suspect that's not the point. Thank you for sharing, you got me.

                        • Tristan Robert Lange

Missy, thank you for your honest engagement, dear poet and friend. I appreciate that my poem stirred reflection. It’s the philosopher in me. 😅 For me, the heart of the poem is this: we are all created in God’s image (Imago Dei) as we are…each of us imbued with divine worth. It’s meant as an affirmation of that sacred truth in all people, regardless of identity or circumstance. I hope that helps offer a little clarity. Some of the comments above touch on that beautifully as well. Again, your time, engagement, and support mean a lot. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

                          Hello, Tristan,

I meant to ask you, what is the name of the beautiful background tune played during your recital?

                          • Tristan Robert Lange

Hi Tony, sorry for the delay! It is an original piece I recorded for this poem. I didn't title it specifically, but I suppose it bears the same name. Or, if the muse is providing you a more worthy name, I am all ears! I am just truly humbled that you found it beautiful. 💜🙏

                            • Tony Grannell

                              Dear, Tristan,
The tune has a beautiful haunting flavour about it. If I may make a suggestion for the title: 'Tittu's Lament'. Hope you like it.

                              Fond regards,

                              Tony.

                              • Tristan Robert Lange

Yes. You may make that suggestion for it, and I will now title it that! Thank you, my dear friend. Perfect name and glad you helped me realize that! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
