Left behind

sorenbarrett

Light from dark a spark that dies in the waning vision of our eyes
Just solar dust a temporal thrust, washed away on cosmic seas under celestial skies
Immortality does not live in flesh or blood but resides in the mud of memory
Character is hewn of bone turned to stone, filed by time's emery
Good and evil from dirt primeval, the same, the two are but one
Right or wrong a matter of perception, mirror reflection, mirage of the sun
