A Little More Kindness

john mckay

We walk this world with burdens unseen,
Each heart a story, each soul between
The quiet battles, hopes held tight,
A flicker of grace in endless night.

So let us lead with gentle eyes,
A listening ear, no need for whys.
A word, a smile, a hand held near,
Can soften sorrow, calm the fear.

For love costs little, yet gives so much,
A balm, a bridge, a healing touch.
Compassion grows where kindness starts,
A light that lives in open hearts.
