Without You

Lorna

The dark of winter outside

The light and warmth of inside

The world spins on without me

Invisible I sustain myself with observation

I peer out as clouds drift in cold winds

And acknowledge the thin walls

Between comfort and annihilation

I can feel this in the literal and the metaphorical it speaks of how thin the wall between where we are and the end of what we are. Deeply existential a fave
