It happened again!
They were interviewed,
Interviewed for the news.
Buying school clothes
Can be expensive,
But some can be cheaper.
They were saying how hard it is,
Hard it is to afford them.
We hear it so many times
How people struggle,
Struggle to pay their way.
Yes it can be hard
But how is it they can afford,
Afford to have tattoos,
Have tattoos on their bodies.
If they can afford them
They must be able to afford,
Afford what is needed,
What is needed for the family,
As tattoos can be so expensive,
But they can afford them!

- Comment from author about the poem: Just a bit of a rant, many people are saying they can't afford food and clothes etc in their lives but many seem to be able to afford getting tattoos on them. Here's a general breakdown of tattoo prices in the UK based on size and complexity: Small tattoos (1-3 inches): £50 – £150. Medium tattoos (4-6 inches): £150 – £400. Large tattoos (full sleeves, backs, etc.): £500 – £2,000 or more.

The label has always been there even when I was a child, but now we have influencers who by the way can stay in their beds all day to do it. Our world needs to make some changes my son's generation are already hoping to work on YouTube or Instagram, it's a great worry that adults accept this behaviour and buy the iPhones for the kids. Yes we should all remember that George at Asda also have great clothes. Or so they did when I was living in the UK 🌹 a great discussion there I've had a rant too.
Thank you for your words Teddy, much appreciated.

I agree with the point raised but it goes much further than that, and all generations it applies to, poignant write
Iy certainly does go further Tobani, may be they will learn one day but I will not hold mybreath,
