Fido Ruling The Roost?

Now I have to consider

Do I give too much leash to Fido?

Not meaning that I take him for walks on a long lead

But do I let him overstep his mark?

 

I mean, he's a reading, talking dog

Checks out those poems most helpfully

Barking at ya if a poem

Should be marked 18+ but isn't

Sitting by the fireside reading them (in darker evenings)

With his pipe (no baccy in it)

Carpet slippers and dressing gown

Or relaxing in the garden (on summery days)

 

But he loves it

Eating KP's dinners with me at the table

While throwing his bones to her 

Where she is in the kennel

 

'You think more of that dog than you do of me'

KP complains to me

'Why certainly, an hundred times more'

Is my reply! LOL

 

Surely KP gets her own back on me somehow.....?
