There we were playing,
Playing a match,
Playing against a team,
A team I used to play for
I knew them all.
Then came the game,
The game that saddened me
Against a friend,
A friend I had not seen,
Not seen for a while.
Onto the lawn we went
And started to hit the balls,
But it was so sad.
This man I knew
Was different,
He was confused,
Confused about the game,
The game he had played forever.
A very good player
Who had beaten me,
Beaten me in the past,
But he was not the same.
His mind was confused
I had to keep correcting him.
Yes I beat him,
Beat him easily,
But this was not the man,
The man I once new.
What had happened to him?
Where had his mind gone?

A fine write Gold. Happened to me. I wrote to them in a Care Home and they thought I was persecuting them.
Thanks Orchi.
Mental changes as sad or more so than physical changes a tragic write Gold
