Wishful Thinking

Silent_Shay

There are many times I’ve cried,

I’ve felt like I died inside

They say if there’s a will there’s a way,

But I know how I want things will keep pushing you away.

I feel like this whole situation has ripped me apart

But I hope after I’ve fully grown, God will give you my heart

You deserve the world and so much more

In the end that will always be what I root for.

You wished it would’ve worked, and so did I.

To give you a new founded love, I’d give anything to try.

I know these poems can be quite cheesy,

But when I’m expressing my thoughts, it comes quite easy.

“You have time” is one of the last things I said

But I wish you’d just let me know instead.

If I could write you a book on my many mistakes and lessons,

I would write until the day that I meet you in heaven

Forever sorry…I will always be

Because I took advantage of your place with me

I hope one day soon we can be renewed

For the hope alone, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do.

Regret over a dead flower the question being is it and anual or a perennial, does it need to be dug up and reseeded with new flowers or will it bloom again in the future. Very nicely written
