Confession

Maplespal

I've been hiding the truth from you,
keeping my feelings from your view,
not letting you know how I love you true,
hiding how over time spent together it grew.
Though it's hard when you laugh to smile,
when together we walk for miles,
when it's my number you need to dial,
I've been hiding my feeling for awhile.
This is something I needed you to know,
the more I think about you the more it grows,
I know that there are times my love shows,
I've noticed the caring looks back you throw.
With this now placed on the plate in sight,
scared yellowed spined and face all white,
worried now with my feeling in light,
wondering if this is our last together night.

Please say something.
