Stop pretending you are okay.
Announce your brokenness—
Nope, fuck that! Shatter that shit—
Caustic cancer hates creativity.
Truth is the only way forward.
Undress the emperor and he’s naked.
Alleviate others' suffering, including yours.
Reconcile or release. Restoration complete.
Yesterday is today is tomorrow. Is.

- Comment from author about the poem: This is the eighth vision in The Book of Tittu — a cycle of eight poems bound by a single, unflinching voice. Here, sanctuary is found not in silence but in the courage to speak truth: to shatter falsehood, to name brokenness, to undress the emperor, to ease suffering. Restoration comes not by pretense but by presence. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow fold into one — the eternal now.

There’s so much truth and fire in this. It’s brave and beautifully written — really made me stop and think. Well done dearest Tittu ❤️ A fave for sure 🌹
I am so glad this delivered for you and sparked thought. Thank you for seeing bravery in it, my dear friend, as it this series certainly has laid my soul bare at the current moment. Thank you for seeing me...always. 🌹❤️☀️⚡🕊️🙏
You're very welcome Dearest Tittu ❤️
I can see great triumph nakedness speaks of it's vulnerability yet out of the ashes a lion is born. 🌹
Thank you, Teddy. I am truly thankful for you journeying along with me on this series and I am glad that it deilvered. Indeed, a lion is born! I could not have worded it better. You are truly a blessing to me, my friend. I hope your Sunday finds you rocking out! 🌹💜☀️⚡🕊️🙏
A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds (Emmerson) I hear this coming through in this poem. Nicely done Tristan
Great quote! Indeed. Thank you so much, Soren! Much appreciated, dear friend. ☀️⚡🕊️🙏
My pleasure
The truth will set us free.
Amen. It sure will. Thanks my friend. Your time and thoughts are much appreciated! ☀️⚡🕊️🙏
Now is right up my street, I try to live by honesty everything I do, however difficult that can be. No good wrapping things up in candy floss so it looks good to appease yourself and others, the candy floss will melt and the truth will eventually show , has been a wonderful series, enjoyed
Exactly, my friend…candy floss always melts. Better to live raw, honest, unwrapped—because that’s where presence and truth meet. Grateful you’ve walked this series with me and enjoyed it! 🖤🙏🕯️🦇🐦⬛
Good write T. All I know is, Popeye continued and continues yesterday, today, and tomorrow, for ever. Continues what? Don't answer that! lol 🙂
Thanks Orchi! And he doesn't seem to get tired like Ol' Tom does. And Obi, that ol' Jedi has his mind trick methods! LOL! As for the answer 🤐🤣
This ain't good enough - Tom losing losing Olympic Games cos of..... we know why! lol.
We do know…the…well, I can’t really say can I Wan Kenobi? 🤪🤣
An obi can be some sort of Japanese sash, I read. Ooh, I dunno if Mr Kenobi is Japanese. If he isn't, have a brolly ready. (How do we think up this rubbish? lol).
Now ya talkin kiddo .. we call that a wrap around these here ports .. I love the concept of eternal nowism .. we just gotta form that bloomin cult bro .. 😎🐦⬛🐈⬛⭐👍
Hah, Neville…eternal nowism cult has a nice ring to it, my friend. Always grateful for you riding along on this wild Tittu voyage with me. 🖤🙏🕯️🦇🐦⬛
The poet speaks to the human experience of pain and the journey toward restoration through truth and creativity. It touches on the importance of vulnerability in the face of societal expectations and the liberation that comes from being open about one's struggles.
Friendship, you captured it exactly…the heart of this vision is about breaking the silence and finding restoration in truth. Grateful for your thoughtful presence here. 🖤🙏🕯️🦇🐦⬛
Dear, Tristan,
I'm always pretending, I'm okay, when deep down I think I have every disease possible, when in fact, as you say, I should be worrying about others and as a consequence alleviating my own unnecessary anxieties. Restoring my tomorrows and into the truth. A profound passage of poetry. If I may suggest; you should collect the eight verses and publish them as one complete poem - please.
Fond regards,
Tony
Tony, thank you for sharing so openly…that means a lot. You’re 💯 right...naming the anxieties takes their edge off, and truth makes room for tomorrow. And yes, I’ve been considering exactly that with Tittu. Thank you for that divinely timed affirmation. Will do...I am working on a chapbook as well...but count that as being done at some point. Again, much appreciated. 🖤🙏🕯️🦇🐦⬛
How true. Well written Tristan
Thank you so much, my dear friend. Glad it resonated and delivered. Much appreciated, as always. ☀️⚡🕊️🙏
