The day was so long,
She was not with me.
We were parted all day
And I missed her so much.
Our love is so strong
We need to be together,
But this day we weren’t.
No problems at all,
All was well between us
But I had to go elsewhere,
Go elsewhere for the day.
But the time ended
And home I went
And she was there,
My lover was there.
We fell into each others arms,
Back together again
And back together forever.
