My children know I'm broken
Yet within it is OK!
Slowly finding shattered fragments
Never to be the same
My fear in the eyes of my first born
Went beyond blood of generations
It showed the chain of manipulation
To brake one link we create a reaction
The last of my DNA manifestation
Has a heart that's smiling of imagination
In place of serenity that I'd mistaken
Test of life is not being permanently vacant

- Comment from author about the poem: When the last line is a struggle and then suddenly the words that come bring a full circle you know this is what you was ment to say, feel and then do. Truly so glad I've found my way back, thanks again to all on here. Always appreciated with much peace and respect, keep up the write.

Our children carry pieces of us some one piece and others another. Nicely written

Thanks mate! It honestly sent a shiva down my spine, to know its something I've felt this vacant feeling the whole of this year and thought it will be what it will be from now on. Yet if you just drift eventually you'll find yourself somewhere new.
Always appreciated
