On frozen ponds, where dreams collide
Maple leaves and stars, in friendly stride
Rival teams clash, with sticks and might
A test of skill, in hockey's delight
From Vancouver's grit to Boston's cheer
Resect and sportsmanship shine clear
The puck drops hard, the crowd on their feet
Canada and the USA, in hockey's heat
Through every goal, every save, every fall
Our bond remains, standing tall
In hockey thrill, we find our pride
A friendship forged, side by side
So let's the games begin, the rivalry rage
With mutual respect, we'll turn the page
For in the end, it's not just about the win
But the love of hockey, makes us kin

A great poem of rivalry forged in friendship. So glad that hocky bonds us in that politics is a thorny bush that no Trump can can win. Well done
