I Don’t

Lu

I don’t break,

I crack.

I crack under pressure

I crack under your criticizing stare

I don’t break,

I crack.

I don’t shatter,

I snap.

I snap when I’m angry

I snap when I’m in despair

I don’t shatter,

I snap.

I cry,

I don’t stop.

I don’t stop the thoughts

I don’t stop, it’s unfair

I cry,

I don’t stop.

I don’t shatter

I don’t break

But I do

Cry.

And I don’t

Stop.

What a way to start off with a bang, great poem… and welcome to my poetic side

A beautiful depiction of how things don't need to be totally destroyed to be damaged and that such damage leads to consequences. Nicely said
