When to Listen Lightly

Neville

When to Listen Lightly

Hey, listen I want to make

love with you

then write us some poetry ..

Which I need

so badly, to resonate both

gentle and softly

just like the hum of some

red hummingbird

or the buzz of a honey bee ..

And then I want it

to crack, like a whip and be

heard loudly,

harsh and brutal, much like

a battlefield

might sound, with low sighs,

moaning and an

assortment of heavy breathing ..

Wow now! This could be seen as a little kinky Neville. A romantic and most naturally oriented poem. Lovely Neville

Most welcome Neville I tend to hold on to outdated words, a word hoarder you might say, never know when you might need em.

Neville, this hit me straight on…tenderness and brutality braided together in one breath. The hum to the whip, the bee to the battlefield …it lands with force, my friend. A fave. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›
