Before I Became Me

Teddy.15

I was oblivious to where
I was being driven
but I was being driven
through all the darkest places
of my life, a life I'd lived
before today
before I'd ever learned
how to live well...

and before I became me.

            Dear, Teddy,

Out of oblivion and into the self and the wealth of becoming you, the honest you and a poem to declare it all. Wonderful!

Wishing you all the very best,

            Tony.

Dearest Tony, loving your words as always I guess I've been re-born more than a few time, I recently went back to my past but as the person I am today, it would probably make sense to you, because you are incredibly intuitive with my work. Thank you lovely Poet. 🌹

Dearest Teddy, this is another powerful one from your Raven Collection. The way you chart the journey through darkness to selfhood hit me...and, β€œbefore I became me,” seals it with truth. Beautifully done, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Mmmm, you know It was very difficult for me to post this art because cemeteries scare me.but it works so perfectly with what I was portraying, thank you my dearest Tristan always a pleasure to share with you. This past summer I went on the most amazing journey through my past, where I used to live with those now passed, my 25 year old brother and my mother who was only 64, I wasn't expecting to do it but once I did I found myself courageous, although once I came back home I have had just a few nightmares. Thank you my darling friend. 🌹

Understood, dear friend. I am so very glad you had the courage to do that. It's hard...I can only imagine. And yeah, I can imagine the nightmares too...which have/will pass (hopefully 😬), but I imagine some good closure and healing coming from it too, and that will endure. Anywho, you are most welcome. Thank you for sharing as well. 🌹
