Tree and umbrella

Caring dove

Here is a tree

talking with its leaves

whispering in the breeze

it has a voice

makes a sound into the world

whilst there’s a umbrella quietly sitting by its side

without a voice

without a sound

without someone holding it up

the trees whispering

the umbrellas without words

and there isn’t any rain falling

she wishes for someone to come along

to still hold her up

allowed a walk

as they walk

the trees whispering with its leaves

and if only for a moment

she wishes to talk

to make a sound of her own

and an umbrella is meant to be held up

but sometimes she wishes for someone to take her on the walk in sun

Maybe it’s good that umbrellas by the tree

as maybe someone may walk her way

and take her on a walk

Caring Dove, this is tender and beautifully written. The tree whispering, the umbrella longing for someone to take her on a walk in the sun...it’s whimsical and deeply human all at once. Lovely work, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

The words that trees could speak to us would be wonderful Yellow Rose.
