Midnight

MatPie

there in front of me

lies the cosmos

an entire vast universe

apogee of clashing atoms

twisting thrice my brain

into a worm inside

a box filled of rotten pork

the most dangerous

forgotten disease in history

a lump of loneliness

in the darkest of nights

can make one to its knots

turns an eye to the telescope

universal metamorphosis

transcentral transgression

into the purest of nothingness

I see glimpses of God

hiding in the shrouds

his tears flowing down a river

his body rotting on the ground

all saints have buried him

somewhere unknown

searching for something

to feel alive only again

until the rise of the sun

I begin to relive

as a human being.

Like a substance induced intoxication this poem joins fragments as it journeys on a inner cerebral trip between disjoined distractions to a place of unity. Nicely done
