Gone too soon

BlessedbyGod

When a child loses their life, it’s a horrendous thing to endure,
We get numb, then angry and ask God what was this for,
We are confused and hurting and want to be left alone,
Such a tragedy can cut us to the bone ,
Having to go through something like this is totally unfair,
Something like is there are no words that can compare,
We lost a young man in a most terrible way,
I wish there was something I could do to take your pain away,
At a time like this there are no words to say ,
That can make everything better and take your hurt away,
You are not alone there are many that love you,
You can lean on me for support when you don’t know what else to do,
When your legs get weak and your down on the floor ,
I will pick you up and carry you until you can stand once more,
When you need to get away and be with someone who will listen,
I will be there for you always to wipe away every tear glisten ,
When you need me , I’m only a phone call away,
I will be by your side - anytime anyday

A beautiful tribute and call to others to care enough to listen. Well written and poignant no parent should have to outlive their children.
