You are the king of my universe
your poetry sets my heart ablaze
where the river was born to a peaceful flow
we stand together as one sweet soul
In this the tempestuous ocean of life
our paths have never crossed
there is no greater sorrow
knowing our hands will never touch
but you are deep within me
my love of poetry
has led me to your wisdom
"Love which absolves no one is beloved from loving"
you have captured my imagination
with your fiery charm
and for eternity you will stay
but I?
I, my love...
will die my sweet death unsung.

This is a most beautiful declaration of love of a poet and poetry itself. Very nicely worded and paced it feels epically dramatic in a classical way. Loved it Teddy
I could have put it as humour too, drama drama drama, thank you my dear sorrenbarret 🌹 🤣
Dearest Teddy, this is tender and tragic…the longing of distant love entwined with poetry itself. That line...“knowing our hands will never touch, but you are deep within me”...really struck me, and that closing vow to “die unsung” lingers painfully. It’s simple, but it carries a heartbreaking truth. Love the picture and would love to visit some day. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Unsung, Yes it means I'll never be a famous poet like him 🤣 it's comedy tragedy but isn' love. lol thank you my sweet Tristan 🌹
It captures both the burning intensity of love and poetry, and the sorrow of a love that cannot be fulfilled. Nicely written.
And the self pity that I'll never be a famous poet 🤣 thank you dear Fina Elara 💜
Beautiful words Teddy but you are not going yet so there are many more words to come from your heart.
Andy
No one got it! It's a comedy about never being famous 🤣 never mind I'll try something else.... Love you Andy 💜
