Malaal hogaye phirbhi, Roya toh nehi

Kisi aur ko muddat samjhaay na saake,

Aab aur na aise hum guzara kar saake

Ye behchayni aab hum seh na saake,

Sabar ke iss imtihaan mein ae dost,

Akhir taak hum Khaare na utar saake
