The Heart’s Spark
The heart lights a spark;
no man can depart.
It’s very smart,
plays its part, leaves a remark.
A heartache so dark
whenever we’re apart,
yet the heart must be wise,
for it imparts—an art.
Apart, it must dwell in the dark,
to prepare for a brand-new restart.

A poem of love and how the embers of it lie in wait to be ignited with reunion. Most lovely

You are most welcome
Well written 🙏
Thank you very much
Amazing little organ, the heart.
It can be big, broken, repaired over and over again.
Often wonder if it could speak, would it say, god not again.
Yes it can be..Lol 😂 can the heart speak. Interesting thought, thanks for the comment
Petra, this one glows with both ache and hope. The heart flickers like a candle, dwelling in the dark only to restart stronger. Gentle yet powerful, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
That spark will always be there to ignite when our loved ones appear Petra.
