I don’t want you

Primrose

You said you were going to get back with your ex

You said it like it was your choice

It wasn’t

I scraped my leg trying to get away from you

You act like you just wanted to talk

But then you go and tell strangers that you are after me

I said I didn’t want you

I told you

So

Many

Damn times

You never listen

Do you

Don’t you see?

I wasn’t flirting

I was trying to be civil

I… I think I was scared

Scared that you’d try

Something

I was at least 60 pounds lighter and 4 inches shorter,

I was at a disadvantage

What I lack in size, I make up for

My words bite.

when you don’t listen,

I make them sting

I pray my words rip through your soul

Shedding blood along the way

I want your skin to burn

I want all the hairs on your neck to stand up

I want your ears to ring

I want you to suffer

Because for the love of all unholy things, look at what you’ve done to me.

I want you to feel uneasy

I want you to feel the pain

Because for the love of all unholy things,

look at what you’ve done to me.

I want you to feel that fear

I want you to question yourself

I want you to lose hours of sleep

Because for the love of all unholy things,

look at what you’ve done to me.

But most of all

I want you gone

I want you to forget about me

I want you to get out of my life

I want you to leave this town for good

I want you gone

You scare me

I’m scared that you may see something

As an invitation

But I would never invite you into my life

Even with all the hate and curses in this poem

If you ever found it

You’d think I wanted you back

I don’t

I will never want you

Never

I want these words branded into your skin

I want you to feel the fear I felt

Feel the pain I felt

As I press the searing iron into your skin

I want you to regret everything

For you, you get what you deserve

And you don’t deserve me
