Awww, no invite!

orchidee

Awww, why you not invite me to fusioned poems?

Well, I talked myself out of it

I said - I will only probably contribute rubbish

But wait - an invite today! lol.

I dunno what to add to it

Bet I'll muck it up

Say summat off-beam

Nothing of any intelligence

A spaceship landed

I was the first person the aliens saw

And said 'No sigh of intelligent life here'

Then dashed back inside the spaceship

And went home again!

Or did they see KP first, and say

'Greetings, fellow alien sister of botox fame'

And decided to stay?!

Woof! Don't attempt a Fusion, says Fido to me

But he may have a go at a verse or two!

Heehee

This piece is playful, whimsical, and humorous I love your playful imagery and self-deprecating humor.
    Interesting and beautifully written.

Why Orchi you are made for fusion poems just as salt and pepper are made for the meal. A fun write.

I can see where this is going - as I await with playful (prayerful?) anticipation for four hundred and thirty five episodes of your mad adventures together with your loyal companion Fido after KP is abducted by aliens.............

The first words said when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon was "They are here".

Thank you Gold. Did he mean us two, stepping out from the dark side of the moon to greet them?!
