The Lonely Star

RSM0812

If ever there was a yearning star,

Companionship, apart so far.

Its light it shines, a billion miles,

Yet see's no friendly smiles.

Alone in space, it burns so bright,

Its twinkle, in the dark of night.

If up you look, a thousand seen,

Yet nothing, blackness, in between.

Oh star of brilliance, alone you be,

Like in the woods, a fallen tree.

Yet u shine through space with warming love,

And share your light, with all above.

Love like light not seen is like that tree that falls in a forest with no one around begs the question does it make a sound? Nicely penned
