Prayer Petitions

orchidee

Tune: Christchurch

('Now is eternal life')

Philippians 1 v. 9-11

********

A prayer [by St Paul] that love abound

Yet more and more be found

Love growing in knowledge

And judgement and courage

The family of Christ shall grow

By His good grace it shall be so

And pray that we approve

Things excellent, not move

From them, and that we may

Be sincere till the day

Of Christ's return, His people He

Will gather to e'er with Him be

And lives with fruits be filled

Fruits of righteousness yield

Which by Jesus Christ be

To the glory, praise, see

Of God, who shall give faithfulness [to us]

Unto the end, and shall us bless

I tried but my voice caused the birds to tell me to shut up. You are most welcome Orchi

'Tis the season for a return to orchi form again...KP a distant memory?

Thank you D. Nope, KP still hovering in the background, hanging around like a.... bad smell! lol. I couldn't think of any more insults for her. Heehee.

You are definitely wearing (could it be winding?) down, orchi.

Wonderful job, my friend! A hymn-poem that even Popeye, bless his heart, can't ____________ during. Don't fill that in! 🤣
