Dwelling Delight

Tune: Doncaster

('Put thou thy trust in God')

Psalm 84 v.1-5

*********

How amiable be

Your tabernacles, see

We, O Lord of hosts, our souls long

For them, there they belong

We long and even faint

For your courts, e'en each saint

Our hearts and our flesh cry out for

The living God e'ermore

The sparrow there has found

A house there, chirps resound

And the swallow too there does nest

Her young in that place best

O Lord of hosts, our King

And our God, we do sing

Unto you, blessed are they that dwell

In your house, good they tell

They tell the good they know

And praise to you they show

Blessed are they whose strength is in you

Your ways [be] in their hearts true
