Flowing forward
I’m searching for the right words,
But it’s always the wrong time.
Life echoes back like history repeating,
A circle of lessons and silent rhymes.
Sometimes you’ve got to remember
Just to change the road you’re on,
Because no one wants a past recycled,
But a future that keeps flowing on.

True words Petra, never go back.
Andy
Thank you Andy
Well put in good rhyme a message that is felt we do not like to focus on what can not be changed but upon what we have control over. Nicely put in this poem.
Thank you Sorenbarrett
You are most welcome
Your poem revolves around the notion of personal growth and the importance of learning from the past to create a better future. It emphasizes that while history may repeat itself, individuals have the power to change their direction and flow forward.
Yes thank you Friendship for your review and thoughts
Petra, this moves with calm strength...the voice of someone who’s been through the cycle and still chooses to move forward. A lovely piece of quiet determination. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

As it says, "there's nothing new under the sun."
But here's to a bright future.
