There's a rough rhythm which causes this to waltz in a rather choppy fashion, yet waltzing none the less. Charming. With a touch of imagery for taste and weightiness, there's a haunting sense of sheer poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
It is the beat of the meter in this poem that reproduces the pendulum and that tic tock that images the clock where time always moves on in a measured way. Nicely done
