Outstanding!

Outstanding!

I would rather be outstanding,

Then fit into the in crowd.

I won’t show understanding,

To a thing I do not care about.

Everybody has an opinion on how I look.

About 30 years ago I closed that book.

I don’t care for your rules on how to live my life.

I haven’t since I was a kid and I’m doing just fine.

So what makes you think you can change me now?

Somehow, is no answer.

No way is how.

The truth will out, because I doubt your choices.

I’d rather be voiceless than agree with what you think.

You see you have never been on this heroes wish list,

Because you are nothing like me and this is my life I live.

So keep on talking about what ‘I’ should do.

I stopped listening a long long time ago to haters like you.
